Day 1: In the morning after breakfast depart Dar Es Salaam to drive to Selous Game Reserve. You will have a stopover for hot lunch at Genesis Motel in Mikumi. The journey will continue to Selous and on arrival check in at Rufiji River Camp The tented camp is situated in the north-eastern part of the Selous Game Reserve on a high bank overlooking the mighty Rufiji River and the plain beyond.

The camp accommodates guests in 20 comfortable tents. Each tent has twin beds with mosquito nets, en-suite bathroom and a veranda facing the river. The central restaurant provides excellent cuisine. The camp makes maximum use of local materials, retaining an intimate relationship with the surrounding eco-system. Dinner and overnight at the Rufiji River Camp or Selous Safari Camp.

Day 2: After breakfast full day game drive, boat safari or walking Safari with our picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp or Selous Safari Camp.

Day 3: After breakfast drive to Mikumi arriving in time for lunch at Genesis Motel Mikumi after short game drive in the park thereafter having dinner and overnight at Genesis Motel Mikumi.

Day 4: Full day game drive at Mikumi National Park with our picnic lunch, this medium-sized park (650 sq mi/1,685 sq km) offers good viewing of giraffes, impalas, warthogs, elephants, lions, hippos and other animals. You will thereafter have dinner and overnight at Genesis Motel Mikumi.

Day 5: After breakfast, drive back to Dar arriving late in the afternoon. You will have sometime to prepare yourself for hot shower in a hotel and thereafter get transferred to the Dar Es Salaam International airport for flight back home.
