Multi-park Tanzania Safari experience with exclusively private wilderness camping safari and walking safari adventures through ancient mountain ranges.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam
Met at the airport by the our Safaris Team and transferred to your designated hotel in Dar Es Salaam. Some few activities depending on your time of arrival or dinner and overnight depending on the nature of the itinerary booked.

Days 2 and 3: Mikumi National Park
Set off after breakfast for the start of your Tanzania camping safari adventure. Your guide will collect you and you will head west to Mikumi (5 hr drive). Pass through villages and farm land and enjoy views over sisal plantations on the way into the park. You will have an afternoon Tanzania Safari game drive towards your private Savannah camp and arrive before sunset for orientation and a sundowner around the camp fire. Choose from half or full day Tanzania safari game drives exploring each corner of the park. Your camping safari stay will be on an exclusively private basis at Tanzania Safaris Savannah Camp, FB. Your tent is en suite with hot water available day and night, camp assistants are on hand with ice cold drinks, and the chefs will prepare delicious meals for you using traditional Tanzania camping safari methods.

Days 4 and 5: Hiking in the Udzungwa Mountains
From your base at the anzana Safaris Mikumi Savannah Camp (FB), you will travel the short distance to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Take a walking safari up to the Sanje Waterfalls for a picnic lunch keeping your eyes peeled for primates such as the endemic Sanje Mangabee, abundant bird life and chameleons. Follow forest paths with your guide on your walking safari as you hike through this ancient mountain range getting yet another perspective of the biodiversity of Tanzania. Return just before sundown to your Tanzania Safaris private Savannah camp in Mikumi National Park each night, listening to the animal calls echo around the park as you relax by the fire.

Days 6 to 10: Ruaha National Park
In the early morning you will leave for your next Tanzania safari adventure (5 hr drive). Ruaha National Park is Tanzania is second largest park. Located in the south west of the country it is still relatively untouched by tourism and is a haven for wildlife; with abundant predators, the big five, the largest variety of antelope species and beautifully diverse landscapes. Your stay will again be on a private basis at the designated Wilderness Camp (FB) set up for you in the best wildlife viewing area. You are again free to organise your days as you please, with a walking safari, daily Tanzania Safari game drives, delicious bush banquets and down time whenever you want. Observe the wildlife in action for as long as you like, follow hunts as they are unfolding and travel to remote areas to spot rarer species.

Back at camp, staff are on hand to provide you with hot water for showers, cold drinks, laundry services and anything else you may need for your exclusive Tanzania camping safari experience.

Day 11: Dar es Salaam and Return Home
After a morning game drive you will be transferred to the airstrip for your 12.30pm flight back to Dar es Salaam where a taxi will meet you to take you to the international terminal for your return flight home.
